LOGODI Nurtures 361 Key Local Government Officials to Lead the Prosperous Local Era

On November 24, LOGODI held a program-completion ceremony for 361 trainees who successfully completed LOGODI’s 10 month long-term program.

To secure and foster local key talents capable of leading decentralization and balanced development, a total of five courses were arranged for mid-level and senior-level officials of local governments. These courses include Senior Policy Managers (39), Senior Leaders (113), Mid-level Leaders (122), Global Leaders (25), and Women Leaders (62).

This year, LOGODI placed increased emphasis on cultivating future-oriented capabilities among government officials to enable them to respond flexibly to changes in the administrative environment and enhance their problem-solving skills.

The focus was on deepening their understanding of emerging industries, such as AI, autonomous driving, and carbon neutrality. Participatory training, including leadership speeches and image making sessions played a crucial role in fostering adaptability to changes in the digital media environment.

As part of these initiatives, theory and field-linked training programs integrated individual research, aiming to deepened government officials’ comprehension of the core national philosophy such as the realization of the ‘Local Era’ and the promotion of a free market economy. These efforts also sought to enhance the performance of local governments in alignment with national tasks. The programs recommended specific tasks for divisions, encouraging the utilization of collective intelligence to achieve their objectives.

At the ceremony, trainees who excelled in their courses were honored with prestigious awards, including Presidential Award, the Prime Minister Award, and the Award from the Minister of the Interior and Safety.

Meanwhile, LOGODI organized the ‘LOGODI Festival,’ featuring exhibitions and performances to share and celebrate the accomplishments of trainees from the ‘Hobby and Refinement Class.’

Ryu Imchul, President of LOGODI extended congratulations to all trainees and expressed his optimism that they would play pivotal roles within their respective organizations. He encouraged them to apply their enhanced understanding of the core philosophy of state affairs, which includes the 10 major tasks in the ‘Local Era.’

Furthermore, he urged them to leverage the insights gained from leadership and job competency training in their professional endeavors.
