2024 Capacity Building for Government HR Management in Kyrgyzstan

LOGODI held a capacity building program for public officials and faculty members of Kyrgyzstan from September 29th (Sunday) to October 9th (Wednesday) in cooperation with KOICA.
The training course is a part of ODA projects and for 18 HR managers including President of APAPKR (Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kyrgyz Republic) to share Korea’s experience on HR training and best practices to help Kyrgyzstan build HR development system.
The training course will be conducted for 3 years (2023-2025) at the request of the Kyrgyz Republic for its 2040 National Development Strategy.


2024 marks the second year under the topic of “Government innovation based on public HR strategy and change management” and an invitational course. It covered customized topics* including strategy to innovate training and change management, efficient HR management, digital government and administrative innovation, and country report and action plan establishment of Kyrgyzstan.

The strategy to innovate training and change management deals with Korea’s experience on training and education for economic development and success strategies. It is designed to improve faculty members’ capacity and change management by studying public leadership, change management, and site visits. 
The efficient HR management deals with the HR management system of Korea, HR development in the public sector, trends of global HR management, and best practices.
The digital government and administrative innovation supports trainees to utilize generative AI in various areas including improving digital literacy and administration.
Trainees drew up action plans on training innovation and HR management to apply after the training course. There were discussions between LOGODI and APAPKR on course planning and operation.
It also offered LearnCation* (learning+Vacation) in cooperation with related local agencies including K-culture experience such as wearing Hanbok, making Tteokbokki, visiting Jjimjilbang, and trying Sikhye.
