2024 Local Administration Development Program(LADP)

LOGODI has been carrying out its plan to host the welcoming ceremony for the "2024 Local Administration Development Program(LADP)" on June 28th. A total of 15 local government officials from six countries were selected through recommendations from Korean local governments and an English proficiency test: Indonesia (6), Kazakhstan (1), Malaysia (1), Mongolia (1), Philippines (3), and Vietnam (3). From June 27th to July 7th, they will engage in theoretical and practical lectures, as well as study visits across Korea.

This training course, an Official Development Assistance(ODA) program, is conducted in collaboration with local governments, aiming to enhance the administrative capabilities of officials from developing countries and foster more progressive relations between Korean local governments and their international exchange regions.

LOGODI tailored educational curriculum's centered around the theme of "Administration Innovation Cases and the Advancement of Digital Administration," focusing on three core sectors: ▲Excellent Local Government and Administration Innovation Cases, ▲Utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Literacy in the Public Sector, and ▲Good Governance and Change Management.

Furthermore, LOGODI, alongside local governments and relevant agencies, has actively collaborated to prepare diverse learncation (learning+vacation) programs, integrating educational and cultural experiences. Participants will have the opportunity to make traditional Korean paper from mulberry trees and partake in cooking sessions featuring popular Korean dishes such as gochujang tteokbokki.



Since 2000, LOGODI has consistently operated the Local Administration Course for Developing Countries, in partnership with 33 domestic local governments, graduating a total of 359 officials from 52 countries.
