LOGODI Shares Its Program Development Experiences with
National School of Local Administration (NASLA) in Cambodia

On February 14, LOGODI conducted a virtual workshop to discuss the current state of local civil servant training and share experiences in curriculum development. This workshop was organized in response to a request from NASLA, focusing on LOGODI's education and training plans for 2024, including updates on the current status and insights into curriculum development. Led by NASLA's principal, the event saw active participation from 22 senior and managerial staff members, particularly during the Q&A session.

NASLA, as an institution for local government officials training under the Ministry of Interior in Cambodia, has been operating various training courses in local administration and senior management since its opening in 2016, and has graduated over 7,600 students from more than 160 courses. It is said that NASLA is currently preparing to develop long-term program and master's courses.

The aim of the workshop was to enhance the understanding and practical skills of training program coordinators and decision-makers, enabling them to con tribute effectively to the development of impactful training programs.

LOGODI presented its 2024 education and training plan, including the current status, course characteristics, and an explanation of the curriculum development process, drawing from their recently developed long-term 'Global Leaders Program' and the short-term 'International Expert Program' for reference. The session provided ample opportunities for questions and answers, with LOGODI's research and development team leader and course managers in attendance.

Munyraksa SO, the principal of NASLA, conveyed his gratitude to LOGODI for the valuable opportunity and expressed eagerness for increased exchange and cooperation, looking forward to the future signing of an MOU.

LOGODI has trained 166 Cambodian officials through on-site and KOICA-funded training programs, and the partnership between the two institutions has been growing stronger since the NASLA principal participated in the LOGODI Global Forum in 2019.
