Greetings from Our Alumni
- Mr. Nishonov Jahongir
Head of International Relations Department
Fergana State University (FSU)
Republic of Uzbekistan
“The whole world is going through very tough times. The COVID-19 brought an unprecedented challenge to the world. We have never faced a pandemic like this before. After COVID-19, the world would never be the same again. We could be living with COVID-19 for a long time. However, I believe that we will ultimately defeat this ferocious enemy when we fight together against the virus. Over time, the world will be safer and healthier. In the course of the pandemic, Uzbekistan government is doing well. The government introduced rigorous public health measures to reduce the spread of the virus. Also, the subsequent containment measures are now starting to take effect. I am very grateful that we were able to return to everyday life. Uzbekistan government allocated the state funds for paying COVID-19 treatment, building more medical facilities, and supporting people who needed more medical and financial bits of help. Consequently, there is an unavoidable decrease in the income of the people. However, the public is not upset about that because it is the price for safety and health. Uzbeks are very supportive of the Government's coronavirus response. Currently, I am working as head of the International relations department at Fergana State University (FSU) in Fergana, Uzbekistan. I would love to consider establishing cooperation to work together with LOGODI alumni. I hope you are staying healthy and safe.”
