Expanding Partnerships with the Philippines and Uzbekistan

LOGODI strengthened its international network by signing new Memorandum of Understanding with the Local Government Academy (LGA) of the Philippines and the Academy of Public Policy and Administration (APPA) of Uzbekistan on Sep 3.

The agreements focus on 1) Exchange of working or study visits to share experiences, 2) Exchange of Capacity Building Programs for Government Officials, 3) Organization of Joint Workshops and Seminars, 4) Any Other Forms of Exchanges or Cooperative Activities.

Both the Philippines and Uzbekistan are advancing national reform plans. LOGODI will work closely with them to strengthen the skills of local public officials, linking its training programs to each country’s policy priorities and sharing Korea’s practical experience.

LOGODI has already built partnerships with nine other countries and has hosted more than 7,000 officials from 89 nations since 1996. Through these efforts, Korea’s experiences in innovation and governance reform continue to be shared with the world.

President of LOGODI, Ahn Jun Ho noted: “These new agreements mark an important step in expanding cooperation in public officials training and contribute to the development goals of both countries. LOGODI will continue to promote Korea’s AI-based governance model and create partnerships that grow together with the international community.”
