As we conclude the year, I am delighted to connect with you through this newsletter.
First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the year.

In 2023, we celebrated the 10th year since LOGODI’s relocation from the City of Suwon to Jeollabukdo Province as part of the balanced regional development policy.

Over the past decade, LOGODI has made significant improvements to its curriculum. It transitioned from rank-based courses to the position-based and job-centered ones. Additionally, it introduced a 10-month course for cultivating global talents (Global Leaders Course), opened a local council training center, and established an assessment center, ultimately adding more diversity to its existing programs.
We have also fostered mutual growth with the local community by sourcing local food for our cafeteria, engaging with local businesses, and opening our campus to residents.

On the international level, LOGODI has continued the operation of capacity building programs for foreign local government officials. Most notably, it launched the annual LOGODI Global Forum in 2019, serving as a hub for knowledge sharing and networking among representatives of government officials’ training institutions. LOGODI has also co-hosted the LOGODI-Tsinghua Seminar, contributing to the international cooperation of local governments.
Thanks to these effort, LOGODI has successfully operated 96 customized training programs for 4,200 foreign government officials.

In the coming year, LOGODI will continue to do its utmost to enhance the professionalism and competence of government officials at home and abroad, cultivate talents capable of responding to the future challenges, and give priority to the public interest.

At the same time, we will closely collaborate with foreign governments and training institutions to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
