LOGODI & ASCI & DARPG Collaborates for the Vision India @ 2047 Workshop

On March 3, LOGODI facilitated the Vision India @ 2047 Workshop upon request of the Administrative Staff College India (ASCI) and the Department of Administrative Reform and Public Grievance (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension of India.

Since 2019, LOGODI and the ASCI established friendly cooperation through the LOGODI Global Forum and this workshop was initiated as a step of that cooperation.

The Indian government recognized the Digital New Deal plan of the Korean government to build a more robust digital economy and promote growth in industries by integrating and utilizing data, networks, and artificial intelligence.

To share Korea’s experiences, the ASCI and the DARPG requested LOGODI to arrange the workshop to support the working group consisting of senior government officials of India in developing ways of implementation to achieve the goals of India's national development plan.

Under the theme of ‘Korea's Administrative Reform’, LOGODI invited three leading experts to share their invaluable knowledge and experiences in implementing effective digital transformation for sustainable and resilient national development.

During the opening ceremony, Dr. Youn Jong-jin, President of LOGODI, expressed his hope that the workshop contributes to developing an action plan for Vision India 2047 in the short term and India's national development in the long run.

Mr. V. Sirinivas, Secretary of DARPG, said that the event will help the Indian government prepare for the journey to reach greater heights by 2047 when it celebrates the 100th anniversary of its independence. He also added, "this is a good opportunity to know the comprehensive current situation of Korea and usful to compose a roadmap for national development."

In April, LOGODI will carry out a customized training program for Indian government officials. In addition, the head of the ASCI will give a special lecture to the Korean local government officials.
