Minister Jeon Hae-cheol of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety attended the ceremony along with the president of the Metropolitan and Provincial Council Chairs Association of Korea, the Governor of Jeollabuk-do, and the vice-president of the National Association of Local Council Chairmans, and other stakeholders.

LOGODI also plans to run customized curriculums for the parliamentary secretariat staff.

Minister said, "Local Autonomy 2.0 is being promoted in earnest this year. Therefore, the opening of the LCTC is very opportune and meaningful in the regard. And, the customized training the LCTC offers you are reflecting the rapidly changing administrative environment and the special characteristics of local councils." He concluded his speech by wishing each participant to strengthen their capacities and prosperity in their professional endeavor.
