Each program carries out a curriculum designed to meet the specific needs of the corresponding program.

Under the vision of ‘Cultivating Key Local Talents Who Lead Innovation and Decentralization’, LOGODI refined the training courses of the post-corona academy, government tasks, and job competencies to respond to the rapid changes in the administrative environment due to the pandemic. Moreover, LOGODI promotes flexible educational operation to reflect the demands of trainees and individual competencies development. After the program, they will be key leaders to drive the local governments' change and innovation to realize decentralization and balanced growth.

The International Training and Cooperation Division runs the Global Leaders Program exclusively. Launched in February 2016, the program enables local leaders to prepare the increased international activity and multicultural public services in their local governments. Among many outstanding candidates recommended by the local governments, only 32 officials were selected through a rigorous screening process this year.

During the joint ceremony, the representative of the five long-term programs pledged to embrace the values and ethics to become a key local talent, such as the dignity of a public official, constant self-development, communication, and harmonization.

President Yoon Jong-jin expressed his hope that each trainee equipped the necessary capacity as a pivotal local talent for the next ten months and promote the balanced regional development and the welfare of residents when they return to work.

Minister Jeon Hae-cheol delivered a few words of encouragement for the participants in his video speech. He acknowledged and commended their continued perseverance and dedication as an essential player in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. He also urged them to boost their capabilities as leaders through active participation and communication through the program.
