LOGODI Concludes the Five Long-Term Training Programs Successfully

On November 23, 2021, LOGODI held the closing ceremony with a total of 379 local government officials for the five long-term training programs, including Senior Policy Managers, Senior Leaders, Junior Leaders, Global Leaders, and Women Leaders.

To cultivate emphatic local leaders who lead innovation and decentralization in the Post-COVID-19 era, for this year, LOGODI designed the programs to achieve three objectives, such as leadership for the New Normal era, implementation & dissemination of the national tasks, and individual competency development.

Especially, LOGODI launched the ‘Post-corona Leader's Academy,’ which was composed of Administrative Innovation and Leadership Innovation track, in preparation for the New-Normal era.

At the graduation ceremony, the trainees shared their experiences of online education. Some reported feeling more anxious or stressed due to hours of online learning throughout the year.

One said, "It is true that I felt awkward and uncomfortable at the beginning. Compared with the face-to-face format, fatigue, limitation of networking, missing field trips were regrettable. However, I am grateful for the opportunity to improve my capacity as a government official through diverse and worthwhile lectures and activities for ten months."

Mr. Yoon Jong-jin, President of LOGODI, commended the hard work and achievement of the trainees and said, "I believe that you will play a prominent role as an empathetic leader in developing your region with thriving and pleasant living environments."
