LOGODI Carries Out a Training of Trainers (ToT) Program for NAPA Trainers, Vietnam

On November 11, LOGODI conducted a special training program for trainers and staffs of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) in Vietnam” as a joint effort with the OECD Korea Policy Centre (OECD KPC) and NAPA.

To comply with the NAPA’s request, LOGODI developed the program with Korea's experience in online education including blended learning, online training content development, and Korea's case studies that are relevant to NAPA.

This program is expected to strengthen the capacity of the trainers and support a network of trainers who will effectively localize and multiply the acquired knowledge and skills domestically.

During the program, LOGODI shared Korea's online education field know-how and experience, and the NAPA faculty members showed great interest in establishing and utilizing infrastructure for online education. In addition, they asked for the intensive training related to the online training teaching

Mr. Noh Hong-seok, Director General of the planning department of LOGODI, expressed his hope that the program could contribute to the online education development of NAPA by sharing ideas and experiences. He added, "We hope not only further to expand the cooperation and exchange between two institutes but also develop cooperation with international organizations together."

Speaking at the opening event, NAPA Vice President Dr. Nguyen Dang Gue expressed his appreciation for the KPC and LOGODI for the program. He also said, "this year's training program lay the foundation to the online education development of NAPA and complete its tasks in high-quality training for the Vietnamese government officials and research on public administration."

Since 2006, LOGODI has carried out training programs for about 280 Vietnamese central and local government officials. It signed an MoU to foster exchange and cooperation in the field of government officials education and training with NAPA in 2007.
