Season’s Greeting From the President
After the outbreak of the COVID-19, LOGODI has shaped a new paradigm for government officials
training programs in line with the social distancing measures of the Korean government to fight
against the spread of the pandemic. LOGODI has converted its 67 face-to-face domestic and
international programs into an online format for about 8,500 Korean and foreign government
officials.
The feature articles highlight our most recent programs and events in great detail, such as the
2020 Annual Korean Local Government Competition, three international programs for Ugandan,
Peruvian, and Mongolian officials, the LOGODI Global Forum 2020, and the 14th LOGODI-Tsinghua
Annual Seminar.
Since the Covid-19 outbreak, the word Untact, a buzzword coined in Korea, has become a central
government policy to minimize physical contact with other people. In the current pandemic
circumstance, it is prudent that Untact format training will be a New Normal in the
post-pandemic world. Therefore, LOGODI will continue to do its best to design new blended
training methods that combine face-to-face and online training components in a balanced manner.
In closing, I thank all LOGODI’s valued alumni and supporters who have helped LOGODI in many
ways to accomplish its mission. I ensure that LOGODI will continue to communicate and build
stronger ties with its alumni and partners and keep its utmost to train government officials.
I wish you all health, prosperity, and happiness.
Happy Holidays!
