LOGODI Carries Out the Capacity Building Program for Mongolian Officials

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, about 100 Mongolian government officials and the faculty members of the National Academy of Governance (NAOG) took part in a one-day online training.

The National Academy of Governance is under the Cabinet of the Secretariat of the Mongolian Government. The academy has become an establishment that makes incomparable contributions to society, the economy, and government policy and activities through the education and consultancy of administrative bodies in all public and private institutions.

Since the start of bilateral ties in 2002, LOGODI has been promoting mutual trust and friendly relations with the NAOG through the capacity building programs and on-site training programs. Each year LOGODI has invited a Mongolian delegation to its campus and operated the program, including special lectures, seminars, and various cultural activities and site visits in Korea. LOGODI has conducted its recurring Capacity Development Program for Mongolia, including on-site training programs 42 times for a total of about 2,000 officials.

Upon the request of the Mongolian government, this year LOGODI prepared a series of lectures in a range of subjects of Public Policy Analysis, ICT Use in Public Service Delivery, and Government Officials Education and Training.

"Since 2002, the LOGODI has been promoting mutual trust and friendly relations with NAOG through the capacity building programs and onsite training programs,” said Dr. Lee In-jae, President of LOGODI at the welcome ceremony. He also delivered a heartfelt welcome and expressed his wishes that the program would serve as an opportunity to share experience in the field of public administration and public services.

In reply to the welcome remarks, Dr. Surenchimeg Dulamsuren, Rector of the NAOG, thanked LOGODI for the rich learning experience throughout the online program and expressed her wish for conveying mutual growth through a long-standing partnership.

Deputy Director, Vivien Ahn, gave special thanks to the participants for the continuous engagement and high quality of the debate by bringing their expertise and experience around the table and engaging in such fruitful, constructive, and open exchanges throughout the program.
