From the President's Desk
As the 56th President of LOGODI, I am delighted to greet you through this 23rd e-Newsletter.
For the past 20 years, LOGODI has been contributing to the sustainable development of the world
through its diverse international training and cooperation programs for foreign government
officials. In my capacity, I will do my utmost to meet the highest standards and maintain its
reputation as a leading training institute for local government officials.
Recently, more partner countries are expressing their specific training needs. Accordingly,
LOGODI regularly reviews and refines its international programs more feasible and relevant to
meet the needs of partner countries.
In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is going through uncertainty. Preparing for the
new normal and the changes in the upcoming decade, local governments must reshape a new paradigm
of cooperation to develop effective communications with other countries.
Accordingly, this e-Newsletter includes the latest news of Korea's responses to COVID-19, such
as Korea's economic recovery plans, global actions against the new challenges, and best
practices in government innovation. We hope you find these features useful and informative as we
do.
Also, LOGODI will continue promoting effective communication and cooperation, encapsulated in a
holistic approach, to support local government to accomplish national tasks such as inclusive
growth, decentralization, peaceful prosperity, etc.
I hope our friendship lasts a long time and ask your unwavering support for LOGODI.
Thank you.
