From the President's Desk

I wish you and your loved ones good health and safety in the face of this unprecedented situation we are living through. With the rapid spread of coronavirus, LOGODI stepped up to the challenge of strictly implementing the Korean government’s quarantine measures against COVID-19.

In February, domestic training courses that are held at the LOGODI campus were temporarily converted to an online format. Taking various types of online classes, program participants engaged in self-directed learning process. Recently, the LOGODI campus was able to return to face-to-face classes. High standard quarantine measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic are strictly observed on the campus for the wellbeing of program participants and the local community.

It is within such a context I want to highlight two special features in this issue titled “In Focus” and “Greetings from Our Alumni.” The former covers how the other countries have been tackling COVID-19 including examples of Latvia, Peru, and the Philippines and the latter contains greetings from our alumni from all around the world. We hope you will find this issue as useful and as informative as we do.

I would like to inform you that LOGODI is also considering the idea of delivering its international programs through the online education platform to adapt to the changes the post-pandemic era will present.

In closing, I wish to remind you that the LOGODI family stands by you in these difficult times and convey our best wishes and warmest regards to you and your family.
